Welcome to Ministry Training International!

Ministry Training International (MTI) is designed to help fulfill the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20: “And Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Our purpose for MTI is to enlighten, equip and empower people of faith with the Word of God, for the work of effective and efficient ministering. At MTI, we teach the practical side of the ministry as well as the spiritual side. That’s why MTI is called ministry training. Our goal is to teach people to apply the principles of God’s Word in the ministry, not only to benefit them personally, but also to fulfill the call that God has placed on their lives.

  • Ministry Training International offers courses dealing with all facets of the ministry. We endeavor to teach students how to recognize the call of God, and to minister effectively in the office God has called them. Classroom instruction is enriched by the ministerial experience of resident instructors as well as guest speakers.
  • We believe the best training is through precept and example. MTI is a place where students can become aware of, and familiar with, the gifts and the workings of the Holy Spirit. Together, MTI and New Growth In Christ Christian Center provide an atmosphere whereby students can see in operation both the natural and the supernatural aspects of full-time ministry.
  • Ministry Training International emphasizes the Love of God in demonstration, the Anointing and the Presence of the Holy Spirit, the commitment to the integrity of God’s Word, and the necessity for unity of vision and purpose. We feel that understanding and respecting one another as members of the Body of Christ is the key to unity, which is the fundamental element in fulfilling the plan of God. May we take our places and fulfill our part in this great plan of God.
  • “. . . Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfill it.” It is important for our students to know that “Preparation Time Is Never Wasted Time” and that “Proper Preparation Leads to Exuberant Exhortation”.
